Abstract

Abstract: This research study aims to analyze and describe the Clinic of the Cooperative and Micro Enterprises Office in improving the empowerment of micro-enterprises in Sidoarjo Regency. The development of the micro-enterprise sector of the local government through the Cooperative and Micro Enterprises Office presents the Micro-Enterprise Clinic as a solution to improve the competitiveness and skills of business actors with role theory According to Jim Ife & Frank Tesoriero (2008), the research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, by conducting interviews, documentation and observation. The results of the research obtained indicate that: The Role of MSME Facilitators has made efforts to assist individuals or institutions have been given companions or mentors for MSME actors in various business aspects. The Educating Role is running well and has been given significantly Through training. The Role of Representation, members of the micro MSME training and technical guidance provided have had a very significant impact. The communication forum is running well so that it is able to direct the fostered micro-enterprises to obtain information regarding access to capital assistance, and finally the Technical Role, has been running well by being directed regarding how to get good product photos so that they can be used to support the legality of a business, especially related to the micro-enterprise products used. Furthermore, financial management training is provided, and technical guidance is provided to assisted micro-entrepreneurs experiencing difficulties managing their finances. In addition to the technical guidance, the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) is also a program of the Sidoarjo Regency Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Office to improve the quality and competency of business human resources.
