Sosialisasi Stop Bullying Sebagai Upaya Pencegahan dan Pembentukan Lingkungan yang Aman dan Nyaman Bagi Siswa di SDN 001 Samarinda Utara

Abstract

Bullying is one of the problems that can disrupt the safety, comfort, and social relationships of students in the school environment. Bullying can occur in physical, verbal, and social forms and may negatively affect students' development. Therefore, prevention efforts are needed through education appropriate to the characteristics of elementary school students. This community service activity aimed to increase students' understanding and awareness of the meaning, forms, impacts, prevention, and responses to bullying. The activity was conducted at SDN 001 Samarinda Utara and involved 53 sixth-grade students. The implementation method used an educational and participatory approach consisting of preparation, material delivery, discussion and question-and-answer sessions, and evaluation. The materials covered the definition of bullying, forms of bullying, its impacts, prevention strategies, and actions that students can take when witnessing or experiencing bullying. The results showed that students actively participated in the material presentation, discussion, and question-and-answer sessions. Through the activity, students gained an understanding of various forms of bullying and the importance of distinguishing between jokes and actions that may hurt or humiliate others. The activity also strengthened positive attitudes such as mutual respect, care, empathy, and responsibility in interacting with peers. The Stop Bullying socialization program can serve as a preventive effort to support the creation of a safe, comfortable, and supportive school environment for students' social development.
